For information on the FR3 and its pluses and minuses you may want to visit the Forest River Owners Group forum. I think you will find the answer to your questions about the FR3. I have no suggestions for the Fleetwood part of your question other than to refer you toward the brands section of this forum.

Good luck in your search.

No first hand experience with either RV

I did own a fleetwood bounder and the co pant was excellent to work with. My next RV will be from fleetwood due to how well they fixed warranty issues.

We also like Fleetwood products. We are on our third Fleetwood motorhome, a 2015 Excursion 33D. Our first one was a gas Bounder then a Diesel Bounder. We kept each for almost 10 years and around 50,000-60,000 miles. We had few problems and Fleetwood was "Johnny-on-the-spot" when we did. We hope our Excursion works out the same. So-far-so-good!

I've had 4 Fleerwood products including the current Bounder. While far from the top of the line Fleetwood builds:

1. Fleetwood has always stood behind any issues I've had.

2. The issues I have had were all minor.

3. Many other manufacturers have come and gone but Fleetwood has endured.

Just my two cents, welcome to the club!
