New motorhome

Hi to all. We are looking to purchase a motorhome and have narrowed it down to two units of interest.
The first one is a 2006 Travel Supreme with only 12,000 miles and 400 hours on the Aux. This is a Beautiful unit.
The second is a 2005 Allegro Bus with 22,000 miles and very low Aux time. This unit has been used very little during the last 3 years and has always been kept under cover.
Would appreciate any input from the more experienced members, as I am sure that you will have some great suggestions and comments that will help us with our decision.
Thanks, Glfpilot

Both are very nice coaches and you didn't mention price, if both floor plans work for you then I would consider the one with more power, which I'm guessing would be the TS

The price for the TS is just over 100k and the Allegro Bus is 95k. Floor plans are similar and both appear in great condition. All tires on the Bus were just replaced.

You might want to check the date codes on the tires on the TS, if they are original they probably need replaced. If it's on a dealer lot then you can bet that they know that the tires need replaced and have priced the replacements into the deal and are just waiting for you to ask.

This spring I was faced with almost the same decision.. I was looking at Tiffin Phaeton and Buss' and Travel Supreme... I would have considered another American Eagle but a 4 slide eagle was simply out of my price range.. I ended up with an 04 40TS04 and we really love the coach.. It has been about as trouble free as I have a right to expect.. (Just needed one slide motor) which I replaced myself..
The overall construction and the components are all far above average
My vote goes for the TS!

Thanks to all of you for your input. We will make the final decision next week and let y'all know. Right now I think it will be the TS. My wife loves it!

Test drove THE TS today. Very smooth and stable. Wife could move around comfortably. Unit has many mods including Corian in bath and kitchen, flex steel furniture, calf skin upholstery, beautiful kitchen surrounds, new covers on awnings, new tires, enlarged shower stall which looks like it came from manufacturer. So far everything works. The only negative is the carpet which is a personal preference not a necessity. I do not see any reason to hesitate. DO YOU ????.??
