New RV Purchase

Hello all. Well we purchased the Pace Arrow 36b and I am just not happy with it. The more I get into the nuts and bolts the more I am pulling my hair our.

Luck for us we just went to the Hershey RV show and the dealer is willing to take the Pace Arrow in trade for exactly what we paid for it.

At the show we were very impressed with the ACE 30.1. They pack lots of features in this compact rig. For about $2000 more we can get a Forest River Georgetown 335DS.

As a family we love the ACE over head bunk and the split bath. The layout of the Georgetown is hard to beat but is missing the bunk. Needs some opinions on this. The dealer is pushing the ACE more than the Georgetown but overall they do not care for both rigs are at the same dealer.

Any help you can give would be great.

Inquiring minds wonder what you do not like about the Pace Arrow 36b. What year is it?

Seems like either the unit you are looking at would be a step down from a Pace Arrow.

I have a 2004 Pace arrow and love it. What didn't you like about it?

I would have to agree with what has been posted here but you have to be happy with the unit that you want. If your that unhappy with the Pace I guess it's a no brainer to trade it off. Good luck in your decision.

Started using the Pace Arrow and things just are not working. The list of problems is just huge. Road side slide needs to be fixed (hitting at the bottom, had the slide "worked on" and now have even more problems. Rear driver side is lower than passenger side. 100% water in the walls (has been fixed but what a pain). Every window is fogged (need to replace). Will need to replace kitchen faucet for it is leaking. Main water tank has a leak at the top. Dealer said it will cost many $$$ to fix for their is no access.

So back to my original question. Being that I am just not happy or wlling to fix all the issues the dealer is willing to take the rig for what we paid for it.
