We are looking to buy a 2006 itasca Sunrise 38j
Dont know anything about them. This one has only 17,000 miles on it and they have out I new carpet, new tires, and a new sofa. How is the Chevy chassis and any comments on this particular rig?

Glad to have you on the forum Samlizzy. Workhorse purchased the Chevy chassis division and made several improvements. Workhorse stopped production when Chevy could no longer supply the 8.1L engine. I encourage you to use the iRV2 search feature at the top of the page to read about your concerns. Some of the Workhorse chassis were subject to an important brake caliper recall. I fulltime on a Workhorse W25.5 chassis and am satisfied and comfortable.

Note....... there is a Winnebago section to this forum that will help you with Itasca specific questions.
