New Sneakers

Bit the bullet and had 6 new tires installed on the MH yesterday. Toyo M154s with December 2011 Date Codes - 265/75R22.5's - Paid $405 ea. + Install + Glass Balance Beads + Taxes - $2800 Total

Removed Tires were originals off chassis -- 1998 / 1999 date codes with one being a 1995 (I'm assuming it was a replacement at one time) They were on the unit when I purchased it last year -- Only ~18K Miles Total on them!!!!

I wasn't having any problems with the old tires but with their age beyond manufacturer's recommendations, it was prudent to make the change

Went with Toyos because of reviews / recommendations / price -- Still another 10-15 years to practice to become a full-timer unless I win the lottery

Looked at all of the Tire Manufacturers - Figured with my projected usage for the life of the new tires, price had a good influence on my decision

FYI - Originally found Goodyear G670s for $478/tire - Too good to be true - I asked and eventually found out they were 2007 year tires sitting in somebody's inventory - Normal quoted prices were ~$640/tire

On the road this weekend , for 2 weeks consecutive in June/July and 2 more weeks end of August before school starts again - Wish it was longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, and Welcome to iRV2.
Looks like you have been doing you homework on tires, replacing 12 year old tires before your summer trips was the way to go.
