New tire on new coach < 1300 miles. Ouch!

Spent $650 this morning putting on a new 22.5" tire. The outside rear tire on the passenger side had a 2"x3" chunk out of it. We've only put half of those 1300 miles on the coach since picking it up new a month ago. So, who knows if the chunk was missing during delivery?!

The damage wasn't covered by Michelin warranty since it was deemed a "road hazard". I'm hoping my dealer and/or Tiffin will help me out on this?!

If it was not there when you took delivery then it probably happened while on the road and I do not think anyone will replace the tire for free unless you had replacement coverage from the tire company who installed them but that is doubtful.
