New tires
We are taking delivery on an older DP tomorrow. It has 7 1/2 year old Michelin tires on it. They are 275/80 R 22.5. I was looking for Toyo tires as a replacement to buy and was not able to find a Toyo size to match. They have one that matches the 295/80/22.5. (M144) I am wondering of that will be ok for the coach. The tire is a little bigger. Coach is a Newmar Dutch Star 4095.
I will appreciate any information that comes my way.

On our previous '02 DSDP 4090 I replaced the front tires with 305/70's and stayed with the 275/70's on the back.
Some tire sizes are proprietary to Michelin. Substituting different tires is possible if they don't hit the jack pads or fenderwells. My 305's hit (and eventually broke) the lip on the outside of the fenderwell.
Toyo makes good tires and other than clearance issues I don't see a problem.

You are looking at a little over 3/4 inch wider tread and about 1 1/2 inch taller tire, slightly wider cross section. Unless you are really tight it should fit but you are going to throw the speedometer off a bit

Take a look at Uniroyal in your size.

The tire size you need is 295/75 22.5. That is almost an exact replacement for the Michelins that you have now. It is also a common size that all tire manufacturers make.

The Toyo M154 295/75R22.5-16 Ply version would be your direct replacement size. Same width, 0.2 inch taller, same load rating, same rim size recommendation as the Michelin 275/80R22.5 XZE.
For what it's worth, I was a Michelin believer and advocate until my XZE tires started cracking badly in their 3rd year of use. I switched to Toyo, also way less expensive,

Thanks for the information. I have insisted on Michelin tires for my vehicles for many-many years. My wife's car came with Toyo tires and they have 71,000 miles on them with no issues. Guess I need to stop thinking that Michelin is the only tire worth buying.
Sadly-the dealer was not able to get the coach ready for us to pick up today. We are anxiously waiting for his call to tell us its ready. Its a four hour drive to their location.

I have 275 x 70 x R22.5. I have not found Toyos this size. Do you know what would be the best Toyo equivalent to this size?
