New to us

Having a 5 th wheel previous to class A. When we went for long trips we kept the refrigerator cool on propane while traveling which I know is a supposed bad idea. Not having any problem with the flame going out while traveling, turning it off while fueling. The class A will not stay lit for more than a few miles. Are there more deflectors to add or just let things heat up while traveling even with gallon of frozen water in refrig compartment. Unit is four door Dometic only 120 volt and propane

I see no problem running propane on the frig. I do it all the time when I don't want to run the gen. Have you checked the chimney to see if rust fell down on the orfice and knocks it out.

That's all I use. I have a Dometic also. I have owned 4 MH, and everyone of them quit running on anything but gas. For me it has been the most reliable, and so far, knock on wood, no problems. What I didn't know, until IRV2, was using the generator, driving down the road, or using the house furnaces driving down the road. Just goes to show, 30 yrs of driving MH, your never to old to learn.
