You can find a nice DP for what you're thinking of spending...we did! We were originally looking at a new pickup and 5er, but it wasn't within our budget, so we opted to shop for used. During our search we came across our MH, a 2004 HR Ambassador for less than it would have cost to purchase a new pickup to pull the 5er.

Recently we had to stop in for our first oil change since purchasing it. The bill at SpeedCo came to just a little over $200 and that included the three filters it needed as part of the normal service. Won't have to worry about that again for another 12-15,000 miles!

We're going to be buying tires as soon as we can afford them, but even after the cost of the tires, the rig is still far less expensive than the new or even used 5ers we were looking at.

Our unit was purchased new by its original owner and he reached an age where he'd rather not deal with a MH anymore, so he put it up as a consignment at the original dealership where he purchased it. It was love at first sight for my wife and she declared it was going to be our new home. Since July we've covered a lot of miles and have visited several states. We live in it full time and work from the road.

Start looking for your dream MH at the price you're willing to pay...its out there!
