Newbie here. Questions

Hi everyone. New to the site.
First time worth a Class A motorhome.
Had other RV'S and camping equipment.

Just purchased a 1996 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Vision with only 39000 miles on it.
Issue that I have with it is that the previous owner messed with the wiring in the RV Electronics PLM-30A.
He was having problems getting power from the generator. What he did is a mess and I would like to clean it up.
My question is; can anyone get me a picture of the inside of the RV Electronics PLM-30A?
I have schematics for it but there are two terminals that are only shown a being used without the description of which wires should be connected to them.
Any info would be helpful.
Thank you.

The RV Electronics PLM-30A is a 30 amp voltage monitor and surge guard. It is suppossed to function much the way the Progressive Industries EMS does. It is a surge protector and shuts off power from the generator or the pedestal if voltage goes outside safe range. RV Electronics is out of business, so if it doesn't work I'd remove it and replace with a PI EMS. Their lifetime repair or replace warranty can't be beat.

Surge Guard offers much the same protection, but only good for one year, no repairs possible.

Not sure how your unit should be wired, in a PI EMS 30 amp it is wired with Hot, Neutral, Ground (30 amp) in, and same 3 wires out. It can be wired between the shore cord and the transfer switch to only monitor shore power, or it can be wired into the output of the transfer switch to protect generator and shore power. If you don't have a transfer switch, it would be wired into the wires going into the breaker panel to monitor power from either the generator or shore cord.

Thank you. I'm aware of what the PLM does. My coach does have a transfer switch also.
I am also aware that RV Electronics is out of business. In an automotive technician of over 30 years and just like to bring any vehicle including my RV back to original state if possible.
If I have to replace the PLM I will but an trying to restore it if possible.

Also forgot to mention that the problem which previous owner was trying to correct is not relayed to the PLM as he believed. The generator voltage regulator was the problem.
I feel that the plm was working correctly in its original configuration and I would like to return it to such.
Thus is why I am asking for pics of the PLM with the cover off.
