Newbie Q ~ How are the amber sun visors used?

We recently purchased an older RV.

I just noticed in each our RV's visors, there is a pocket that contains an unused-still-in-plastic amber-colored plastic sun-visors. Well, I think they're sun visors....lol.

Looks like the previous owner never did anything with them. How do they attach? I don't see any way to actually use them. They're just long plastic amber-colored pieces that are slid into the pockets of the actual regular visors.

Should there be hardware to attach these? Or do they somehow attach to the regular windshield visors?

TIA!

Unless they are designed to slide partway out and block the sun where the visors do not go, I suggest you ask the previous owner of your coach what they are and why he had them.

I wish I could. I don't know who the previous owner is. Bought from a small dealer who doesn't know usage either.

Now that you mention sliding them out, that may be the answer. Just seems a bit odd, and likely could fall/slip out completely if partly extended.

I talked about the "sliding in and out plastic things" because my wife's '96 Chrysler Town and Country minivan had smoke colored see through plastic sliders like that built into both the left and the right sunvisors.
