Newbie Question

Generally speaking...most other things being equal on a 10 year old coach...size, price, Cummins power, equipment, cosmetics... would one be better off with a Bluebird with 65,000 miles or a Monoco or HR with under 20,000 miles?

Better off means handling on the road, maintenance costs and resale value after 4-5 years.

I don't mean to start a fight but this is my short list.

Thanks

Ron

Can't imagine you'd go wrong with any of them. I'd guess the Bluebird would cost more and would be my first choice. Monaco makes some great coaches. All the nice ones I found had golden oak cabinets, which I can't stand 😜 One reason why I bought a Country Coach. Don't rush, plenty of rigs out there...

The Wanderlodge (Bluebird chassis coach) is really robust and has a lot of nice features, but maintenance cost is no better than any other. And if you are talking one of the M380's, they do not have the same quality rep as the older Wanderlodges or the Lxi model.

After 10 years, none of those diesel pushers are going to depreciate rapidly, so probably not much difference there.
