Assuming from the title of your post that you have a Newmar coach. Make, Model, Year is always beneficial when trying to answer your questions.

Guess my BIRD is different then yours. Even with disconnect in the OFF position, if the inverter is left ON there are components that will continue to drain batteries.
What I do works for us. . . Has since 11/14/14 when we took delivery of our factory ordered coach

As I said, I store with everything OFF. Knock on the concrete I park on, never had an issue.
Call Newmar CS for advice.
Also, do a load test on each individual chassis battery-this will tell a story too.
Genset charges nothing, it powers the inverter/charger.

Inverter/charger charges house batteries.

Isolation relay charges chassis battery from house batteries when Inverter/charger is powered and conditions are met.

Engine running charges chassis battery.

Isolation relay charges house batteries when engine is running and conditions are met.

That's how the system works.

All except that one. .

Welcome to irv2, Pat.
Here is a link to help you get around irv2.

Your Canyon Star needs to have the battery cut off switch on for the batteries to charge.

This is what your B.I.M. looks like 1/2 way down page and you may have the same problem as this member had read this link and see if the chassis battery cable is in the correct post on BIM. You will have to trace the positive cable from battery to BIM, as he said the two battery cables were reversed feeding into the BIM the chassis battery cable and the house battery cable, this problem has been going on for the pass two or more years.

Here is a link about the battery charging systems in Newmar gas coach's.

This link will give you all info on your coach TSB's, brochure, owners guide, recalls and other important info.

All the links below have information for your Newmar.

The OP must not be in a hurry to go anywhere. 21 hours later and no reply to anything suggested here.
