Newmar de-lamination. Yes? No?

It appears that Newmar coaches have little or no delamination issues. I am looking at a 1993 Newmar Kountry Star 38 foot and see no waviness or "buckling" whatsoever. I really like this Class A but would like input from older Newmar owners on if older Newmars were relatively de-lam free. Thanks!

The walls on a Newmar are not laminated so they do not delaminate. They use hung wall construction instead.

Not the basement doors, they are laminated in the older models.

Newmar, along with almost every other Class A manufacturer, had delaminaton issues with some models around 2002 until 2006. I would think the 1993 model precedes the delamination.

I would think if there's going to be a problem it would have happened some years ago.

No they didn't, Newmar uses hung wall construction, not laminated. They did have problems with the top surface cracking but that's a totally different thing.

Our '02 DSDP had the "checking" as it was called. Really only showed up in the dark colors, probably heat related. Basically the top surface of the wall lifed up and cracked the paint, but that's not delamination.
