Smile Newmar- My first motorhome!

I can't believe I just bought a new Newmar Bay Star!! I bought airline tickets to fly to LA next week to sign the loan papers and drive her home. Kinda scary. I just sold my Jayco 23 ft Travel trailer with no slides. This motorhome is nicer than my home.
My feelings are you should live life to Th fullest while you still can before you can't anymore. We were looking at Jayco Vistas that we really liked, but this thing took my wife's breath away. Only 240 payments and it's mine! LOL. So that will make me around 82.

Congrats on joining the Newmar fold. A Newmar was my first Class A as well. Hope you have many trouble free miles and see many fantastic destinations.

You might want to consider joining the Newmar Kountry Klub - King Aire : Essex : Mountain Aire : Dutch Star and getting involved in some of their rallies. I recently went to my first NKK rally and the other owners were a terrific source of information.

Enjoy the new rig. I only have 232 payments to go. I'll be 89 when I see the title to this.

Yep, Tom's the guy. Was going to try to barter locally, but they started to hassle me. He's only 400 miles away. And have heard nothing but good things about him.

You will be very Happy with Tom. It will be the best buying experience you will ever have. Tom's a great guy and he will take care of you before and after the sale. Take a notebook and take some notes because he will spend as much time as you need doing the walk thru. Good luck and have fun.

Congrats on the Newmar. I'd never heard of them before I saw the one I now have. I've never regretted the purchase.

One thing that I do recommend, take a video of the PDI. I was lucky that the original video that came with my Mountain Aire was still in the motor home. I have referred to it many times, it's just to easy to focus on something and miss something that may come in handy later.

One thing to take with you on your maiden voyage, a sense of humor. Take a deep breath and enjoy.

We just got back yesterday from picking up our 1996 Kountry Aire Newmar too, congrats!

This is our first MH as well, so it's a bit daunting, but fun, and traveling is so much better than with a TT.
