Newmar suspension upgrade

Hello first time here.
I have a 2006 Newmar Kountry Star 37'. Has anyone changed shocks [different type] or changed to an air ride of some sort . A little bumpy I think. Welcome all ideas. thanks Don

Welcome Donalddo. I would help if you post which chassis you have. I assume gas, maybe Workhorse or F-53. The more info you provide the quicker you'll get help.

I have an 04 KStar gasser( Workhorse). Bought it in 07 OEM shocks were gone. Upgraded to Bilsteins, much better, ran those about 40,000 miles. Last year changed to Koni's. I am more than pleased, with those, than I was with the Bilsteins.

I put Bilsteins on the one that I had. Liked them so much, that I put them on my DO, when it was time; works great there, too.

What type of ride are you getting? My 05 Kountry Star on the Workhorse W24 is a bit harsh on bumps. It has even jarred a few things loose but the roads were nothing short of awful. I was going to upgrade the shocks with the newer Bilstein Comfitracs but there were none available when I was looking last November. I have decided to hold off until summer so if you find something that reduces the harshness I would love to see how you make out.

Take a look at Koni. These are as good as it gets ... IMHO.
