No brake lights

I have a 2003 Holiday Rambler Ambassador. All of the lights work except for the brake lights. The cruise control will not disengage when pressing the brake pedal. I am not sure what the problem is or where to begin looking. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Have you opened/located "All" of the 12VDC fuse panels? Did you locate the brake light fuse?

Had this problem on a truck years ago and it was the brake light switch above the brake pedal. Hard part about it is getting on the floor. 😳

Assume you have air brakes. The brake light switch is an air pressure switch located below and'/or in front of the brake pedal. There may be two switches. I had a friend that had two switches on his coach and both were bad. His switches were accessed from his front generator slide.

try this link Holiday Rambler Owners Forum to find other owners that may be able to help.

I have checked the fuses and all were good. I found two switches on the front of the coach located on what appears to be the air valve directly in front of the brake pedal. What is the best way to test them?

Check for power on one side. Then check other side with someone stepping on brake, with air built up. Should have power there too.

Good luck
