No brights

We picked our MH up from the shop and it got dark before we got home. This was our first time to drive in the dark and the brights would not come on. Any suggestions on what to check. We leave Friday to take grandkids to Mt. Rushmore.

Smart-wheel or dimmer on turn signal stalk ?

Have you checked the main circuit / fuse box for a high beam relay?

Check bulbs too... often overlooked.... next check power at bulb .... next switch... usually on a breaker not a fuse...

Check the manual (I know, we don't need those ;-]) I have using mine for that kind of thing though. If it is anything like the ford there are several fuse and relay boxes hidden around the RV and they will tell you which fuses and relays work the lights. It is possible for the brights to have a separate relay. As was mentioned, test for power at the lights then work your way back through the fuses and relays. You will find the bad spot.
Something else that bears mentioning. Since it was at the shop check the area where they were working and look for loose wires or plugs. The shop would have tested the thing they worked on but wouldn't think to check the high beams. Worse comes to worse you can ask them to take a look since they worked before you took it in. Good luck and please report back to us.
