No hot water?

I just picked up a 97 Winnebago Vecter 34' diesel pusher. The hot water heater comes on when I turn it on, it runs for 10 minutes or so, but when I turn the water on on the coach there is no hot water in either sink or the shower. I have ordered a manual, any idea on what I might be missing?
Thanks

Need to make sure the winterisation valves are all in the correct position.

When you say no hot water, no you mean when you turn the faucet to the hot position, there is water coming out but it is not hot, or no water at all.

HWS have check valve on inlet and sometimes on outlet as well and they can collapse internally and block flow.
Outside shower turned on at the valves but off at the head can result in no hot water inside.
If operate the safety valve (carefully) iss there water coming out and is it hot

BTW a HWS starting up from dead cold should run for more than 10 minutes before it cuts out.

Welcome to irv2.
Here is a Tech link to info you need as said the by-pass valves need to be turned for summer use and water in tank or you may have the need of a new heating element because of no water in tank.
