No LP to coach

We have acquired an 05 D and just filled the tank today.. thought it was empty ...not so. I'm not getting any gas to any of the appliances or water heater.. They had recently installed a new co detector and I thought I read somewhere that it can control the valve and the emergency shutoff switch must also be able to ??? I made sure the the manual shut off is open. Looking for some knowledge or paperwork on it if anyone can help.. greatly appreciate it

Thanks
Jim

Make sure the regulator isn't defective......slightly crack open the line, after the regulator.....most pigtails have a check valve in them, and if tank is opened quickly, it'll trip the check valve.....open slowly

Did the appliances light before you got it filled?

On our Holiday Rambler, there is a little switch with a red light next to where you fill up the tank. That light must be off. When it is on, the propane won't flow.

I was messing around one day and accidently flipped that switch. Went to use the stove and it wouldn't light. Tried the generator, and that wouldn't start. Went to get the tank filled up and it took just a few gallons. ??? Then I saw the red light and flipped it off and all is well.

The CO2 detector/alarm is not connected to the LP system. If the shop changed a rectangular plate near the floor, that was the LP detector. It has service life of ten years. The new detectors are not compatable with the ten year old valves. Both need to be changed. Double check what was changed.
