No more 12V on Monaco Diplomat 38

Hello and regards

I have some issue with all 12v related power distribution Inside the RV,
When I started the RV, the battery was flat
I started the Generator and managed to start the RV
I moved the RV to a new loaction on the camp while the Generator was running and noticed it cut out
Once parked up I found out that:
The EMS panel was not powered up anymore,
All internal 12V does not work anymore, radio, water pump, slides, lighting
The generator cannot start

I tried to locate the 50 Amp Fuse but did not find it, any advice would be greatly appreciated
In the Meantime i put the battery in recharge with an external Charge

Monaco uses a switch near the door called a "salesman switch" that shuts off all 12 volt power. It's very common to bump this switch and lose all of your power.

The switch is also connected to a solenoid in the "run bay" (the outside bay under the driver's window) inside the big fuse box. This is the solenoid that the switch controls. If the solenoid went bad, you can jump across the two large contacts and eliminate the solenoid. You can permanently eliminate by removing the two large cables, bolting them together and then wrap in black electrical tape. The switch and solenoid are not really needed.

X2 with what Don said.

Also, the EMS system relies on 12 volt to work. While the generator is running it sends a 12 volt signal to the EMS system it worked. If you have no 12 volt anywhere then the EMS will not work.

I had a 2002 Diplomat and had the same issue. It was a tripped breaker on the rear wall of the battery compartment. This is what it looked like:

Pushed the "flag" that says reset back into position and all was good.

Good luck.
