No passenger side door!

Saw a class a setting on a Walmart lot today that was different from any I've seen before. First thing I noticed was a mid coach entry door on driver side. Then when we left the store and drove by the coach I realized there was no other doors on coach anywhere.

The only brand on the coach was Siene and it had CA tags. I could see lots of problems with only having driver side entry, who would want that?

Just curious!

The only online reference to Siena is along these lines: https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/classa...iena-25342.htm
Bruce is right, the only way the entry door would be on the port-side is if the MH was imported into the Americas.

It was built by Coachworks RV manufacturers. Those that I can find all have a right side entry door.

I was curious but didn't notice where steering wheel was. I'm thinking every campsite they travel to will have them stepping out into the neighbors front door. It was gone next trip past Walmart. I too looked up website but none of the models listed show a floor plan like this one. Always heard CA was a little different. lol

If that Coach was a Siena made by CT Coachworks in Riverside CA. Steve Thomas the owner of CTcoachworks made the Coach as a special order and it is going to be shipped overseas. Yes the steering wheel is on the right side of the coach also. I was just at the plant and was given a tour of it. Steve said it was a challenge to do all the electrical on it. He has only built this one this way. I have the american version Siena.

Thanks Jeff, I'll stop scratching my head now. That's what's great about IRV2, someone will know the answer! Wish I had circled back by and spoke to them.

I can't imgine how/why a "drivers side only entry door" would/could be a problem in a campground....(I've never seen a campsite where I couldn't park my motorhome so that my "passenger side entry door" faced toward which ever side of the campsite I wanted it to face).

No problem in a CG, but MURDER if parked on the side of the road or parallel parked on a busy street!
