No power to coach

1997 safari trek, 24 foot. had generator running with a/c unit on. ran for 2 hours, generator quit and now have no power in the coach. checked main breaker box in bathroom. nothing wrong there. is there a master breaker that i am missing?? engine starts and runs fine. coach batteries are new and have 12.58 volts. no power to start generator either. acts like the master power switch is off, but it is on. any ideas out there???
thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

First thing to check is your fuel level. If the tank gets below around 1/8 to 1/4 tank the generator can no longer draw fuel to prevent you from running the tank dry and no being able to start the engine.

There is usually a double breaker located on the generator itself you might want to look for too.

Best of luck

thank you Rick.
fuel tank is full. generator reset done. there is no power to the panel that tells you water qty etc.
water pump, lights, refrigerator, nothing works. when engine started , all works fine. turn off engine, nothing works anymore.

3 day weekend, and the 2 local shops are booking 3 weeks out.
gotta be a simple answer......
thanks everyone for all your help.

Yes, there should be a master breaker on the coach 12VDC system. Follow the battery lead from the house battery positive side - looking for a plastic box with battery cable lugs on either side. The breaker will have some type of button or lever to reset power.

Be careful because something popped the power in the first place.

Best luck

Check for circuit breakers or fuses on your converter/charger. They are sometimes hidden on the side and hard to see, according to where yours is. If you have a multimeter or test light, if the circuit breakers aren't the answer, start tracing how far 12 v power is making it from the batteries towards the 12 v fuse panel. Also try turning off and then on your battery isolation switch.
