What do ya'll do to handle this if in a campground for a few weeks? Do you take the MH to the dump station to dump or pack a blue boy?

If I know I'm going to be in a particular campground for a few weeks I make sure I have a full hookup site. Having to break camp to dump tanks is a pain and I refuse to own a blue boy. If I had no choice of a full hookup site then I'd drive to the dump station as required.

Since you'll be in a campsite without a sewer connection, you probably won't have water either. Driving the MH to the dump station when needed will give a chance to fill water tank also. Leave the toad in the campsite. You can also reduce trips by using campsite toilets and showers, if available.

I know folks who sit on a Water/'lectric only site for months on end, They use Blue Boys, for both black and gray (In that order).

When I had a wife the longest we went non-dump was 8 days, normally we would dump 2x a week (Wed and Sun) and the longest on a no-sewer site was 1 week. Alas, I can not go 2 weeks.

or check to see if they have a honey wagon service.

One campground I was in had a private company that would empty your tank and refill the fresh water for $30. Check with the campground they may have a service like that.

Their are a lot of Louisiana State Parks that have electricity and water, but no sewer. In our plans to start of fulltiming we plan on staying close to Louisiana. I can stay at their campgrounds 14 days at a time and then move to another one. With my NP Senior Rate if runs about $12 a night. Some of them have great shower/restrooms facilities, but their are a few that are questionable. We can go for a week easy just using the our restrooms at night only, but not 2 weeks.

It's just not that hard to pull,the slides in, retract the jacks and unhook power and water for a quick trip to the dump station. It's not like you have to stow all your outside gear, like mats, bicycles, grills, etc. and hook up the toad.
I think it's easer to move the MH than mess around with multiple trips using a Blue Boy.
If you in a 5er it a different story.

Yeah, had the same thought when I seen him servicing the sites. I didn't use him, he didn't seemed to concerned about cross contamination from what I could tell.

State Parks here in Florida have electric and water but no sewer. When tanks are full, I just unhook and dump. Takes all of 20 minutes to pull the slides and levelers, dump and set up again. Sure beats 4 or 5 trips with a blueboy.

I frequently stay for a couple three weeks at a CG that is water/electric only, no sewer. I use a 42 gallon blue boy. They also have a honey wagon service, which I use on occasion.

I think you will find honey wagon service is pretty common for most CG without sewer. Call ahead and ask. Also often the honey wagon runs a couple times a week and you have to get on their list/schedule. You do not have to be present if they have access to your sewer dump.

I do a 42 gallon blue boy, but have built a no sides wagon to carry it which makes it very easy to walk it to the dump station. Generally "dump" every 3 days. I can "dump" at home as well so final 3 days I "dump" it at home.
