Have a 4door Norcold that has always worked ok. Coming home from 2 weeks at one location. Was working when I left, got home nothing. Nothing on panel. Checked 2 fuses and fine. Have 110 to unit. Is there a reset anywhere. David

Follow up. Led light on Norcold safety recall unit is on. Search says this is root of problem. Occurred shortly after washing MH. Have inspected for leaks. ARPRV claims there safety switch is much better than Norcold . Does anybody have any experience with them. Understanding if you do have a fire even with switch installed on 10 yr old unit you are pretty much on your own.

PLEASE!!!! under NO circumstances bypass the safety recall box to get the fridge working while you wait for a tech to arrive or any other circumstance. In our case, the tech did the bypass on the basis that he was certain the problem was with the recall box and if he didn't have a replacement at his shop, he would order one in for us. The bypass only takes 30 seconds, if that, and if you do much reading of the threads on various forums discussing the Norcold issue you will find postings that suggest it is OK to do the bypass. In less than 2 hours after he left our fridge had caught fire. It was only incredibly lucky circumstances that we caught the fire before it did any damage to the coach or us.

Apparently moisture on the recall box will cause it to shut the fridge down. If you cannot restart the fridge by applying a magnet to the top of the recall box or if it does start but cuts out again after an hour or so, your fridge probably has a serious problem and is at risk of starting a fire.

You will find posts that refer to the recall box as a"POS recall box". I think you are much more correct when you refer to it as the "SAFETY recall box".

Good luck.
