Oasis Elite door awning repair

Since buying our 2004 Journey in 2013, the door awning has not worked. I'm trying to pinpoint the problem, and am thinking the motor needs cleaning/lubrication. How do you get access to the motor? It works a little - got awning extended about 6 inches, but that's about it. Two bolts go down from top of the motor bracket, but that doesn't seem to allow the motor to be removed. I've got the cover above the motor off (4 short screws) exposing the nylon gear and worm drive, but not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions?

Got it fixed. By allowing motor to rest after every few inches and helping it along by pulling out on the awning I was able to get it all the way out. Then I followed instructions posted by MarkCinCLT on 7/25/13 and was able to pull the roller bar out of the undamaged nylon gear on left end, and that allowed motor with worm gear to drop down. Bottom of motor and bearing was corroded - wire brushed it, blew it out with compressed air, lubed with WD40 and White lithium grease, bench tested it, then put it all back together. Drilled drain holes in plastic caps on both ends. Figuring it all out took time - total job was several hours, but if I ever have to do it again, it will be a lot quicker. Cost - zero!
