Monaco is still in business. They went bankrupt, but were restarted by REV Group.

Not that that probably helps too much with the pre-bankruptcy units, but Monaco is still producing.

I would buy a motorhome that used to be in production but the company went out of business if it was the right one. Country Coach in particular, who never shut down their replacement parts business. I talked to them and they were very honest that some parts must be custom made and are expensive, but they can be made available with extended lead times. Plus, as others have said, they advised that many of the critical components were commercial and not custom.

This issue was a big factor in buying our 2004 Newmar Mountain Aire DP a couple years ago.
