Odometer gone haywire

We were on a real rough patch of interstate and I noticed my odometer went haywire. It flashed rapidly and wound up with the mileage changing several times. It is now at the wrong mileage. Anyone else incur this sort of problem and any suggestions what to do about it?

Since speedos no longer use a cable, I would bet that you have a loose wire in the circuit.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Sounds like a loose connection! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
