Oh CRAP day!!!!

Was on the way to have the MH services this A.M., lube, oil filters, state inspection etc. Well I was about 3 miles from the shop and the CHECK ENGINE light comes on. Dropped it off and told them about the lights. Well just talked to the shop and the light was change oil due to time. Well the MH had about 3000 miles since the last change but that was April last year. Come to find out that the on board computer tracks not only miles since last change but also time. One happy camper here only need to reset the oil monitor LOVE IT!!!!

You know over on RV.net 3-4 of them said that there's no way a check engine light could come up with a code saying oil change over due by time since last change. Can anyone say why there's so many more nay sayers on one site over another??

I agree with you a Check engine light is usually something to do with emissions or a problem with how its running.I cant believe and like many others have said that the check engine light was for a needed oil change.
