oh gee, here we go again

Well, living in the motorhome for about 3 weeks now. Thought that the cat and the birds adjusted well. Well, my daughter came to visit and said, "what are all those marks on the dashboard"..I got my glasses on lo and behold there were bite marks(puncture on the front of the dash. I guess it took the cat longer to adjust. Now I have to get a dashcover, any ideas out there. We have had leaks, dead batteries, so many folks trying to rip us off, but we will trudge on, just another bump in the road. By the way the sani-con system didn't work either and my husband bought the regular sewer hose and that worked great. We had the rv dr. over to check out the rig and he approved everything. However low water pressure in the kitchen, found out that we put a pressure regulator on the line, and we already had one on the unit. Boy, are we learning a lot, now we need 2 new tires, and a wheel alignment and we will be ready to go on the road by the middle of June.

If you get to Florida, Lazy Days, Sefner, on site you will find Wade's RV. 1 813 393 8362. Make an appointment, get there in the morning, you will be out the door by afternoon, with a custom made dash cover, made of really nice heavy, cat-proof material.
They also fix the faux leather seats found in many units today. I was skeptical, but, seeing their work, makes me ready to recomment them.
Have fun!
Our cat has given our bus the same treatment....Oh well....

Your Sani-con probably needs a new impeller. They wear out after a while. Mine lasted about 3.5 years of full time use. A new one costs about $40, and it's an hour or so of work to take it apart and put it back together. Not hard at all if you're mechanically inclined.
