I utilize a large truck garage for oil changes.

I have the oil changed when I have my yearly PA state inspection done. I also have the chassis lubed and tires aired at this time.

X2 I once worked in this industry; and the loser dropout kids who do oil/lub changes, are only doing the oil change thing because they failed the MacDonalds burger flipping requirements.

There is absolutley no way I intend to let one of these little creeps anywhere near my rig, torquing my oil drain plug to 150 ft/lbs!!
Tell us how you really feel about these kids I rely on these kids to do my oil changes and they do a good job . Usually speedco.

I have always changed my own oil, belts, brakes & fluid and thanks to the internet several things I thought I would never do. I am sold on amsoil. I use their filters and only change it once a year

Well, DIY is fine for the gasser owners, usually pushers do not have enough room underneath when the air bags are deflated for catch-pans capable of holding 22-40+ quarts of oil. Then getting multiple catch-pans comes into play, and you must switch them as you drain the oil, all in 12-14" of height. Back when I was working as a lube guy(1956-59) that would have been easy, now at 71, what was easy, is painful and clumsy. Speedco is close and worth the money for what is received.

I do my own work. I placed a value on my oil pan that a hose connects to and drain to an 5 gallon gas can. I take to the recycle place when completed. Had by axle seal replaced twice by professionals, only lasted a season. Did my self last time 5 years ago. If you can do yourself. If not watch em.

I would use Speedco but they are not allowed to enter a customers MH so they cannot change the oil filter. Rats!

I like going to a truck shop and having the mechanic walk thru my coach with his greasy shoes leaving tracks right up the middle. Sitting in a dirty truckers lounge for half a day seals the deal for me.

I do my own changes along with lubricating the chassis. I'm sure there will come a time down the road though that I'll likely be having it done.
