Now that I have your attention, here's a new one on me.

At 32,250 miles, today I changed oil for the 4th time in the life of this vehicle. I know thats more then whats necessary, 'BUT IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD". That was for those guys who do unusual things, because it makes them feel good.
Well, when if came time to pouring in the oil, I reached for the oil fill cap on the oil fill tube, twisted the cap to unlock it and quess what? The cap was stuck but oil fill tube extended out about 5", which made pouring the oil from a gallon a hole lot earier. I've been around FreightLiner and Caterpiller company people for more then 3 years, and no one ever mentioned that feature to me. How many of you were aware that the oil fill tube actually extended out to facilitate pouring oil in the tube.
Who ever said, "old dogs can't learn new tricks". Well, this old dog just learned one.
I hope that helps you as much as it did me.

Radarr
