Onan 7.5k HDKAJ - Stops Running

I have a Onan 7.5k gen set in my motorhome with 1,888 and counting hours. This weekend for some reason it continues to shut off around every 2-3 hours. I have plenty of fuel, nothing is blocking the air intake. The oil and fuel filter were replace in the last 100 hours. I am getting an error code 36 which is air or fuel. It just seems odd that it is shutting down almost in a consistent time frame. Has anyone experienced this before?

I think it's starving for fuel. Check the rubber fuel line that is connected to the fuel filter. I have an 8000 and when they changed the fuel filter they partially kinked the fuel line. The generator would run until I put a heavy load on it. Would run for several hours and then just quit when it needed more fuel for the load than was available. It would crank right back up and act the same way. Same error code you have. I hope this helps

clark, i had the same problem. i changed the fuel filter and it went away.
then it wouldnt start, most of the time. i dropped it out and found one of the glow plugs was burned out. i replaced all three and the belt. the belt looked like it was coming apart. mine had 5500 hours on it.
