I installed a Auto Start on my MH several years ago. Easy install and parallels wring that you already have for starting your generator. I purchased mine from the manufacture of the unit. But it is only available from Magnum today. AGS-S model can be found on the internet for about $270 with shipping.

The Magnum Energy inverter/converter in out 2005 coach cannot have the AGS added. I called them. Our Onan QD7500 can.

If OP only wants to install a Auto Start the AGS-S should work. A call to Magnum would be best to verify. Mine is hooked to a QD5500. Without a Magnum Inverter/Converter.

As I said in my post I CALLED MAGNUM. My ME2012 cannot be equipped with their AGS. It is too old-2005. It would have to have a newer control board installed to use the AGS. $500.00 upgrade plus the cost of the AGS . No thanks!

We bought the EC-30W Auto Start. It take about 15 minutes to 1 hour to install, depending on how your genset is placed. It can start the generator if the temperature get too high, then turn the genny off when it gets down to a certain point. It can do the same thing with a heat setting. It will also start the generator if the battery gets too low. It really saves on fuel when dry camping at rallies in Florida.
