Onan battery terminal block replacement

The negative terminal stud on my onan 7500 is a bit stripped. I have it working right now but would like to fix it the correct way. Does anyone know to replace this, do I only need to remove the top cover? Was wondering if I could reach the two internal studs from the top.

Best to remove the panel above the Terminal block- Much easier to get to.
I'll take a Pic of one I have in the shop tonight.

Thank you NHRA for the info and pictures. I honestly dont know if I can get the rear panel off though. It is in the front slide still and was trying to do this myself in my shop which would rather not remove the whole gen set. It looks like i just need to slide up the rear cover which i do have clearance to do that. But not completely remove the rear cover.

You'll have to remove the Top cover 1st--Remove the side bolts on both sides of the Rear cover and the bottom bolts. If You can slide the Rear cover up about 2 inches it can easily be removed, then your there.

Why not try to rethread it first?

That was my first thought. But with that divider between the - and + posts there isn’t enough clearance to get the die on there. Was going to thread it 1/4-20.
