I installed a motion sensor entrance light. My dw thought it was a waste of money until walking up to the rv in the dark and have the light come on 20 feet away. Nice to have in the storage building.

We keep the motorhome in the driveway. I finally remembered that my garage floor drain is plumbed to the sanitary sewer, not the storm water system. After not having used it for many years I got it unplugged, bought some more stinky slinky hose and now I have an home dump station if needed.

If that "push button" screen door opener is like the one I got from Camping World, it's actually a simple short plastic lever in a rubber grommet that's mounted in a 1/2" hole you drill in the slider. When the inside of the lever is lifted slightly the other end pushes down on the screen door handle. It actually works very well. In the Camping World online catalog search "screen door opener" and it should pop up. Cost is only about $5.00.
Just this week I replaced the white plastic slider on my screen door with a clear one. Boy does that make a difference!
One of the first improvements I made in our Class C was to mount a grab handle horizontally in the center of the semi-circular opening above the cockpit (the base of the overhead bunk there is 1" plywood). I made sure to get a sturdy handle and mounted it with 4" screws. It helps greatly in getting in and out of the front seats.

We did 2880 watts with two 5000w inverters and love it.

I'm proud to tell it again:
On my 40 ft Dutch Star Spartan/Cummins, when it was new, with 2 ducted roof low-profile 15,000 air conditioners,.... I modified all the aircon electrical wiring (12 & 115 volt). With the original wiring I discovered, the hard way, that true redundancy does NOT exist. It made no sense to me, to have one circuit board FAIL on one unit, AND cause BOTH units to NOT function. Now, each one has its respective thermostat and on/off switch,...one in living room and one in bedroom. Much easier/convenient to operate and to trouble shoot. YES, it was under warranty BUT no shop would work on it (in the summer in Arizona). It's a lot tougher to "go to school" under those conditions.

Mounted 12 volt LED strip lights under awning mount channel controlled by a lighted on/off switch mounted under cabinet behind passenger seat. Perfect amount of light while sitting under awning at night. Also blue rope lights mounted under chassis plugged into a RF controlled remote in storage bay with switch mounted in panel above steps where all the other switches, thermostat, etc are located. Obviously I love lights! You should see my house and yard.

Roof air
Got tired of a/c not functioning to it’s fullest. Removed both units, sealed duct work, made collars to raise enough to install condensate drip lines and insulated the metal plentums so the hot air discharge didn’t reduce the efficiency. Now no more water on roof and ripping down sides then splashing dirt on coach and the air has never been as cold even on the hottest Florida day. Can’t stop smiling when walking up to the coach and not see water everywhere. DW is dancing with me on this one.
