On my Monaco Signature you only move the slides when level. So when I park I level first then move the slides (have no jacks). The leveling system will check that it is level after about 30 min and correct if necessary. When I leave I pull in the slides then go to travel mode on the leveling system. It is specified that way by both Lippert and Monaco books for my Sig. I guess they are afraid that if it is not level you might put a slide into a bind. Why some Monaco are one way and some the other I do not know. Being level when moving a slide seems a lot more logical.
