To each his own. My Monaco had one slide and I added a second Mor-ryde to keep from digging through all the junk. I use the space beside and between for other things like a folding ladder, folding table, outdoor mat, etc. so there isn't as much wasted space as you would think. The biggest volumetric waste is actually the loss of height since the tallest item has to clear the lowest point where the center of the coach drops down for the wiring, etc that goes down the middle. If you don't watch, it is easy to peel something off the top of the stack. Most of my stuff is in Sterilite bins so that also results in some lost space, but most of them are pretty full. They stay surprisingly well when stacked 3 deep if there's some weight in them going down the road.
