Just starting the hunt for our new traveling home and came upon this. Does anyone have an opinion on this make and model and if this sounds like a possible deal? Thank you for your input.
1999 32"6" gulfstream sunsport motor home
only 27000 miles, ford super duty with triton v-10, 4 speed automatic, electronic ignition, power steering, power brakes, tilt steering, cruise control, safety back-up camera and monitor, good tires, new batteries, dual access battery system, 12 v 45 amp converter, 2 roof top a/cs, just serviced and blowing cold, 40,000 btu furnace w/ elect. ign., drivers side door, mid door, electric over hydrolic leveling system, upgraded ext. paint scheme w/ invisible bra, 5 w generator, elect. overload protection, elect. supply cord, overhead 19" tv, cloth leather combo, deluxe, quality furniture, 3 burner range and oven, microwave, 2 door, 2 way refrigerator w/ 6 panel wood inserts, wood flooring in kitchen area, glass enclosed shower, 25' awning, awning over slide out, queen bed, tow package, stereo and speakers through out.

Everything you listed sounds very standard.
Asking how much for it? Does it have rot anywhere? What does "good tires" mean? Probably too old to be driven on.

They are asking $21,500. Don't know on the tires yet. But will definitely look closer at that. Does Gulfstream have an ok reputation? I know this is an older model and plan on getting everything checked out by someone who is certified to do so. Thank you for your input.

The Sunsport was a typical mid line class a product.

RVs are currently selling at of below NADA LOW Retail...so $20,000 if the tires are good and there are no leaks and everything works. Check the date codes on the tires. If they are 5 years old or older, deduct the price of a set of tires.

Check the service records for the engine, transmission and generator.

Seems high. It is my understanding that Gulf Stream is no longer around. Should have no impact, just thought you should know. Good luck!

I have the MH below....GS has a so so reputation, some good years and some very bad years......I have owned mine since 09 and have been pleased.....I did understand though going in that it was an entry level MH and have kept that in mind....

GS no longer makes Class A's but they make trailers.....Their cust service currently is from poor to OK.....Seems spotty at best......I have had horrible experience with their cust service and finally just gave up.....The MH you are looking at, cust service will not be an issue most likely.....Some other mfg's (ie Winnebago) are much better at cust service, esp on older MH's........

Thank you for the information. We bought a 2002, 32' Tiffin Allegro, on a Chevy workhorse instead. One owner, well maintained, good price. I believe this is also an entry level MH. Looking forward to trying out the full time experience.

You made a wise choice, we had a 95 Sun Voyager and after 69,000 miles even the side walls were loose. The are very poor design and workmanship not built very sturdy.

I have a 2004 Gulfstream 36 foot Cresendo DP Cat 330 HP with 6 speed Allison and really like it. I have had several DP and Gas motorhomes in the past and think the GS has some features that are options on others. I traded in a HR 34 HP and could not compete the deal fast enough. But as with all Rv's they have good and bad, but for me I like my GS.
