Opinions and sugestions

New owners to the class A category, just sold 5th wheel , bought a used 2004 Newmar Scottsdale with the 8.1 Vortec and Allison trans. I have purchased a used blue ox alpha tow bar and patriot brake system and planning on a Fiat 500 manual as the toad, will this be a good combo? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

There won't be any problem with the coach towing such a lite car. The W-22 series chassis has a 26,000 lb. GCVWR and an Allison 5 speed tranny. I don't know anything about the tow bar or the suplemental brake system, but you will also need to buy and install a toad "base plate" that is compatible with the BO tow bar.

Good luck with all that, and WELCOME to iRV2.com

We tow a Fiat 500 manual with our gas coach. Great tow car, no fuses to pull, no wires to disconnect. Neutral, e-brake off, key out, ready to go.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Don't know about the Fiat but noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
