We always wash the dishes after every use. Time is usually not limited when we RV. We even drive at a leisurely @ 60 mph.

We carry enough place settings to serve 8 people (not my idea). The water is usually paid for. The dawn dish soap goes a long, long way and keeps our grey tanks somewhat cleaner. Our galley is almost always clean and organized. And, we only need to store clean plates etc.

Paper Plates and Plastic utensils cost money per use and have to be stored dirty until the garbage goes out. At that time, we would make our laziness someone else's disposal problem.

A powered dishwasher is not a "Need", it is a "Want" and a "Compromise" as to storage options. And yes, we want and have one in the S&B. But do not use paper products there either.
