Can't really say without seeing that particular coach but we had a 94, same floor plan and it worked great for us. Fleetwood makes a good product and the Bounder is probably their most popular model. You can check NADA.com to get pricing if that's a concern. Make sure all on board items work. Check the roof for any damage, the tire codes to see how old they are, run the AC both roof and engine etc. If you have the maintenance records as well you should feel a bit more comfortable. Good luck and hope it all works out.

I totally agree, Fleetwood builds a great coach and the Bounder is very popular. We've been rv'ing since the early 90's and have never met a Bounder owner that is not very satisfied with their coach.
If the Bounder your son is considering is in good condition, been well maintained and reasonably priced, he should feel comfortable purchasing it.
