I spend 0 on your coach.
I wouldnt even honk my horn at you if yall were on the shoulder waiting for a service truck.

I mean the wives tales run deep with diesel coaches. Cracks me up to no end.

Also... try not to get painted with my broad brush. If someone has a diesel coach that has 300,000 miles on it...post up pics!!

DP mileage

I bought a 10 year old DP with 19000 Miles on it. Runs like new.
It was kept in a climate controlled storage facility.
I do t thinknthe diesels get fully broke in till 100k Miles, or so I’m told.

Ours was bought with 84,000 miles and I contacted the rep and they said that on the Cummins ISM 11 liter you need to break it in with about 125,00 miles before you even need to adjust the valves for the first time. The big diesels are not in any shape or form like a car gasoline engine. What is a bunch of miles a gas engine is a mere pittance to a Diesel engine. One of the techs showed me pic of coach that come thru last week and it just turned over 500,000 miles and still purrs like a kitten.

Ask same tech how many "flat rate" hours he bills for. The local cummins shop ALWAYS has 10+ coachs in queue.

They must all have a million+ miles on them!
