Options you wish youda gone for
We werent sure about the electric dog polisher option when the salesman was giving us his spiel.
Anybody go for that?
We have a Fleetwood K9 version.
We did go for the strap on carpet samples rather than carpetting in the whole rig. Saved us a bundle!
Wherever we go in the rig were walking on broadloom!
Life is good!

We did take the dog polishing option but the dog learned to pick up the cat by the scruff of the neck and put her in the machine. I had to hide the the key to it.

Our coach only comes with a hand operated dog polisher. Now I'm thinking that we made a mistake and should trade it in.

Airfreshner tire covers
We also went for the combo air freshener tire covers. Shaped like a large pine tree they cover the wheels and when you walk by our rig it smells like a pine forest!

I got the pooh polisher instead of the dog polisher...slides right down and no more skid marks!

We (at the DW's insistence) ordered the AHL (automatic husband locator). In general I have been OK with it. If you get this option don't let the salesman talk you into the SCD (spouse correction device). While it seemed worth the money at the time, I hate the shock I get when I approach the edge of it's range.

We had the option of polished wheels or high compression hub caps. I wanted the hub caps but Janet decided they would be too noisy. Polished wheels it is.

Sounds like a lotta good options we werent offered. Maybe a trade in is in order. Im looking at a diesel puller. It has handle bars and a BFE upfront like a garden tiller.
Its much quieter inside the coach and I have worked out hand signals to direct her! If we go for it!

After reading about the stresses of buying, owning and maintaining a balky rv, especially the lemons, maybe the option of not buying one should be pondered.
I had a close friend that owned a boat, that was eager for a seaman to help with lines, navigation etc. I was out in that boat almost as much as he was and he did all the maintenance. Had great adventures cruising and fishing the Puget Sound in WA. We split the fuel costs.
He sold his boat when another friend of his was also constantly looking for help when escaping the wife.
Still in the shopping stage for a new mh to replace our antique, even that transitions from fun to work. Somehow I still enjoy the hobby.
I like the Newmar product for being able to eliminate items more than add.
