I think you have received overwhelming advice to find a better dealer.
Good luck during your pursuit of a really nice coach. A new coach is really exciting and you need the payment hammer to get their attention when you pick up the coach. I recall a couple threads where the purchaser should have sent the coach back and ordered a new one there were so many defects.

Possibly, and this is pure speculation, GE Credit is watching dealers very closely since McMahons is in such serious financial trouble.

They need full payment to order the coach because they do not have a floodplain account anymore. Buy from someone in a better financial position.

I would NEVER pay for anything in full before getting it! I would demand the deposit back and take my business elsewhere! JMHO!

paid in full before ordering it. They said if something happens to us there stuck with the motorhome. We did have a contract that we would pay June 23th. in full which we thought this motorhome was ordered last week. We have been waiting for a production number from dealer calling and calling.
They think were going to hand over money first.. Is this the norm....????
Thank you

Now that your order is cancelled, I'm sure you won't mind sharing the % discount off of sticker price that they were willing to give you. This would be valued information for all of us future buyers.
Thanks, Sammie

We were given a Price on a 2014 but we were ordering a 2015. The prices were not out yet. It was around 22% off of the 2014 price. He was doing the deal by braille.
Now we start over. I heard the prices for 2015 Allergo are coming out very soon.

I'd most definitely be getting my deposit back and heading down the road. Sure sounds to me like there having some financial problems . This is NOT normal business practice.

Good thing. You should be able to do much, much better than 22% off of MSRP.

Cancel your order Now! Do a lot of research and find a dealer with Excellent Customer Service with Tiffin Products. Check the many Forums and the Tiffin Network. The Forums are full of Service Horror Stories after buyers purchased. Take your time. I searched for a Tiffin Coach in my price range for months and then decided to purchase a used Country Coach through Oregon RV in Eugene, Oregon. First Class people to deal with. When you try to cancel, they will say, That's OK, we tried!

Join TRVN forum and you'll find a lot of recommendations for Tiffin dealers around the country. My understanding is you can expect around 27% off MSRP without any hassle. Don't be afraid to fly in to pick up a new coach. Davis and Sherman are two dealers close to Red Bay that seem to give some of the best deals and receive many positive reviews. Also Lazydays in Tampa is competitive. Many buyers pick up their coach at the dealer then drive to Red Bay factory to correct any delivery glitches. Read up on TRVN. Happy hunting.
