Ordering Oil/Coolant Analysis Kits

Do I need to order a kit for each oil that I want to test, or does the kit come with multiple bottles? I want engine, transmission, generator, and coolant. Obviously, coolant is separate, but do I need a separate kit for each of the oils?

With J&G Lubricant it is one for each. You can order multiple and save on shipping.

you should generally not need a coolant analysis at least from a lab. Use the test strips and make sure its nice and green.. or close to the color from the jug... If not then things get complicated.

I use them also. If you enter "IRV2" in the coupon code, you get a 10 % discount. Tom Johnson, the owner, is a supporter of this forum and is a really good person to talk to about oil change frequency and analysis. You'll find him very helpful.

Blackstone Labs also uses one kit (bottle) per fluid to be sampled. You could send them all in one box, but each sample bottle is separate and labeled as to what is in it. Order as many [free] kits as you will have samples.

If you are using Schaeffer oil, they will supply sample bottles

Can I ship multiple bottles to JG, or does each need to be separate

You will label each sample with a unique ID, so multiple bottles in one package is fine.

I've had good results from Blackstone and the kits are free!

I've looked at their website and see tests for oil and transmission. Do they have a coolant test as well?

Different payment scheme is all.
Blackstone bottles free and you pay for the tests
JGLabs you prepay for the bottles/labels and send them in... no addnl $ for test

I appreciate having ability to ask Tom (JGL) questions here on iRV2 and figure why not support a contributing member offering a discount?

How much discount? Blackstone is $25 and for me, I support a local business from Fort Wayne, IN. Another benefit is to have spare bottles on hand and if they get lost, then it's no cost. For the question about coolant testing, just call them!
