Our first long trip!

We just got back from a trip to Slidell, LA to visit our kids. I checked the fuel mileage and was pleasantly surprised! We averaged 9 MPG pulling a 2001 Honda Accord. I thought this was good since we only got about 8 mpg in my 2010 F250 pulling a 36' 5er. I kept the Allison transmission in the "economy" mode since it was all fairly flat country. Just curious as to how this compares with others with a 40' DP?

Joe and Annette, Hope you are settling in and getting used to your coach. The best part for me was viewing the scenery out the window. Much nicer than the cab of our Class C. Glad you had a good trip. I can't answer about the fuel mileage, just wanted to say hi.
