Out of storage!!

Took the "great rolling turd" out of storage this weekend! Put the batteries back in, and the ole v10 stagered to life on the third try. Let her idle for a while, and she msmoothed out after a few minutes. While she was warming up, I wiped the jack pistons down with some ATF, thend ropped her back to terra firma.

All the tires still had air, so I drove her the 3 miles home. Jacked and levelled and plugged into shore power in the driveway, time to get the plumbing up for the year. Uh oh! where's all that water coming from? Looks like the city water fill valve succombed to the winter chill, off the menards for some plumbing. A few hours later the wet system is up and running, all the pink stuff flushed out, and some bleach in the belly tank and thru the lines.

No rodent droppings this year! Almost worth having to fix plumbing. I put bounce sheets everywhere last fall, and also removed anything that looked or smelled edible, including the BBQ Grille and all soap too. Whatever, no lil presents.

It looks like it's gonna take 2 30 gl tanks of propane to keep the plumbing thawed out for the week.

Friday we leave for Florida, gonna trade this ole gasser in!
