Outside shower leaking in my Monaco

Like all motorhomes, I have a faucet/shower hookup in my wet bay area of the motorhome. Well it very slowly drips water. it drips from the plastic piece that has the water hose and is connected (screwed) into the top of the faucet. I always have the faucets turned off.

I just put a new plastic piece that the hose is screwed on to in. It still seems to drip. So why is it dripping? Why is it dripping with the faucets both turned off?

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

What about the valves that shut the water off? Have you checked the seats in them? Maybe they have been tightened too much and have a groove in them, or they might just be worn from use.
On ours there is a way to shut the head off along with the valve handles. After we use the outside shower, I let it hang for a short while to drain. As much trouble as the outside shower can be, they are nice when washing the dogs!
