Outside tv
Are the tv’s put in the outside of the slide outs rated as a outside tv. I’ve noticed that tv’s rated for outdoor use are much more expensive.

I don't know the answer to your question - but I am currently installing a TV on a slide out in my coach.
I'm just using a regular TV. They are cheap enough that if it fails from humidity/temp/vibration, I can just get another one (and still be way ahead in $ over buying an outdoor TV). However, if the TV is in use and it starts raining, I would shut it off and stow it.

Our outside TV is behind a sealed waterproof door that lifts to show the TV. No need for any special outdoor type. It's the same make and model as in the bedroom. We can also put the awning our for added coverage and protection.

The TV does not have to an outdoor TV, but outdoor TV's are typically much brighter and will cut through the glare and sunny conditions a lot better than a standard TV.

I think your neighbors will appreciate it if you do not have an outside TV.
